Very conveniently located near Zurich’s main train station. My wife and I traveled for two weeks through Europe via train and we found the hotel to be very easy to find and only a short five minute walk. When we arrive around 0830 in the morning, well ahead of check in time, the staff was very helpful in assisting us in locating the nearest Laundromat so we could clean clothes and stored our baggage until we returned. We got back to the hotel and it was obvious they had attempted to get our room ready and allowed us to check in early. The hotel was like walking into the earlier 1970s. The décor is very old but in pristine condition, we found it to be very interesting. The entire hotel is very clean, our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was perfect. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling by train. Its an easy 10 minute walk down Banhafstasse to the lake.

I didn’t realize the hotel didn’t charge my credit card when I made the reservation. They only used the information to hold the room and I had to pay when I checked out.

Really close to the train station and the city centre. Situated on a quite street. the room was quite small, but overall ok (for 1-2 nights). Очень близко к вокзалу, к центру города. На тихой улице - ночью не шумно. Комната небольшая, но для 1-2 ночи вполне подойдет.

The breakfast was quite poor -mostly bread and jam. Завтрак скудный - в основном хлеб и джем.

The soundproofing of the windows in rooms facing the street is excellent. It is loud if the windows are open, but when they are closed, it is easily possible to sleep soundly. The rooms are very clean and the staff is superb.

In the room in which we stayed (Room 104), the bathroom lighting is atrocious, being very, very dim from a single overhead light. In addition, the bathroom is not vented and does not include a fan.

lovely and friendly staff, clean rooms, small bathrooms but it was ok, very very central location (perfect location), good breakfast, omlettes were not included in price but worth the price. I would stay again and highly recommend, this hotels' price is very competitive when compared with other hotels' in that area, it is not cheap but one of the cheapest in that location.
